Mr John Alexander and Mr Melvyn Carter have received legal advice to the effect that, for technical reasons, their appointment as joint administrators of Albany Technologies Limited ("ATL") was invalid. Accordingly, Albany Holdings Limited has presented a petition to the Court of Session in Edinburgh for the making of an administration order in respect of ATL, for Mr Alexander and Mr Carter to be appointed as the joint administrators of ATL and for their appointment as joint administrators to be back-dated to 10 February 2010. The Court has ordered the petition to be advertised and a copy of the advertisement may be accessed by clicking on this link http://www.cbw.co.uk/albany.
