Robin is a General Practitioner, specialising in advising small to medium sized organisations, owner-managed and family businesses.
In addition to his experience as a Chartered Accountant, Robin has experience in operating several of his own businesses. This places him in the unique position of being able to fully appreciate the challenges and realities of these scenarios which, in turn, ensures his input and advice is 100% relevant and pragmatic.
Robin is also a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner which means he can assist those in a financial crisis. His straight talking approach and excellent negotiating skills make him the ideal choice for people facing a personal or professional “credit crunch”.

- Advised on the continuing development of a family owned business over multiple generations and through dramatic industry cycles. His advice included succession planning, inheritance tax, personal tax, business tax mitigation as well as the development of strategies to combat the drastic cyclical nature of their industry.
- Established a UK subsidiary for a US media company. Advised on the practical issues of setting up in the UK as well as advising the US parent and their financial advisors on managing rapid growth, tax and compliance issues. The subsidiary rapidly expanded into a £7m p.a. business.
- Assisting with the ongoing disposal via MVLs of the dormant subsidiaries that are created as a major PLC continues its expansion.
