Vipul is a General Practice Partner working with clients from start up phase through to maturity. Most of his clients are medium sized owner managed businesses with turnover of up to £8m.
In addition, Vipul acts for a number of law practices with regards to their compliance requirements.
Vipul’s passion is for ensuring that the accounting function and red tape jobs do not get in the way of his clients “doing business”. For this reason he heads Carter Backer Winter’s business support unit which provides a complete range of outsourced accounting services including bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts, VAT and preparing full statutory accounts.
He further supports clients with his wealth of knowledge of many of the industry’s leading accounting packages such as SAGE, Quickbooks and Viztopia.
Vipul is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Relevant experience
- Advised a rapidly growing recruitment group on pension planning and a re-organisation which jointly resulted in a reduction in their overall tax liability.
- Implemented an outsourced function for a film company for whom timely accounts are critical to the success of the business. Vipul’s new service ensured that the Board of Directors received more accurate information much more quickly than had been delivered previously. The cost efficiencies he gained were a bonus.
- Implemented an outsourced accountancy service for a rapidly expanding law firm including bookkeeping, payroll and VAT return preparation. Additionally, his team now provides creditor updates which ensures the practice has much greater cash flow control.
