Inheritance Tax Seminar: 5pm, 15 October 2015 at CBW

On 15th October we will be delivering a presentation on how to plan for Inheritance Tax. The major changes announced in the recent Budget make the subject of IHT very much a hot topic, and at CBW we believe that the best way to minimise this tax for your beneficiaries is to structure your finances effectively now. The seminar will include:

  • The basics of estate planning
  • The private residence nil-rate band
  • The attack on non-doms
  • The use of trusts and why you should act now
  • New rules around private and corporate pensions
  • Charitable gifting

Our wealth management team, consisting of members of our tax and financial planning teams, will provide you with some straightforward steps to take now so that your affairs are in order; from organising wills and life insurance, to pension nominations. They will also decipher what the budget really means for you and talk about some tax planning opportunities, so that whatever your circumstances, we will be able to provide you with an overview of your options. There will also be an opportunity afterwards to talk to a member of the wealth management team. You are welcome to attend the seminar with family members.

Places for this seminar are limited, so please RSVP directly to Kim McKenna if you wish to attend.
