Arthur Harverd

Arthur is a Chartered Arbitrator and joined CBW after many years' international experience in the manufacturing industry and he was subsequently a partner in the City of London firm, Hacker Young.
His appointments as arbitrator, both UK based and internationally, cover such diverse areas as commercial contracts, financial services, partnerships and sports disputes.

Arthur is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and The Textile Institute.

He is a past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is the Chairman of the board of the London Court of International Arbitration.

He is a director of the International Dispute Resolution Centre Ltd, London. He was appointed by the Government in 1999 as a member of the Enemy Property Claims Assessment Panel and has twice served as a DTI Inspector. He is a member of the Tribunal of the Accountancy & Actuarial Discipline Board.
